Son of Edward Jeffreys and Mary Jeffreys. .

Born in 1743, the sixteenth year of the reign of King George II, and died aged ninety-five in the first year of the reign of Queen Victoria  He has 19 direct descendants in the family.

It is possible that William Jeffreys was the donor of the Tenor Bell in 1806 when he was 63, inscribed May all I summon to the grave enjoy everlasting bliss.
