Cyril Bernard Jeffreys



Born in 1889, the fifty-second year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged twenty-seven in the sixth year of the reign of King George V

The Battle of The Somme


Despite the only mention of him in the family tree as Killed in 1st World War in IRELAND he was actually in the 2nd Wiltshires and died in the Battle of the Somme while attacking the German front lines. He has no known grave but is remembered in the WW1 memorial at St Mary's Church, Moseley.
